Bold Riley handmade serif display font

Shiver me timbers its a new font called Bold Riley — named after an old sea shanty (Aye! I went there). The name seemed t' fit its rough and ready style — and I thought it was a beauty. With this font, I tried t' make it look very casual like it was hand-drawn.

Font trends

The trend for hand-drawn type doesn’t seem t' be stoppin' anytime soon. I personally love hand-drawn letterin'. Actually casual be probably t' wrong word. I wanted it t' look old and retro with a rough hand-drawn feel. I've not totally succeeded but I like the results. Take a look at the type samples below to see if yer agree.

Using the font

With its rough and grungy hand-lettered look, Bold Riley is ideal for packaging, invitations, cards, logos, and anything where yer want the human touch.
